What is Threading?

Threading is an ancient technique for eyebrow shaping and hair removal. It originated in Asia however in recent times it has gained popularity in western countries as it provides precise control for shaping perfect eyebrows and is gentle on the skin.

How does Eyebrow Threading work?

In Threading, a thin, cotton thread is doubled, then twisted to make a figure of 8. It is then rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the
hair at the follicle level.
It is similar to tweezing however tweezing is when a single hair is pulled out and threading can remove short rows of hair so is quicker.

Is Eyebrow Threading painful?

The advantages of Threading compared to waxing are that it provides more precise control in shaping eyebrows and is gentler on the skin. It can be uncomfortable as several hairs are removed at once: however this can be minimised when done correctly..

Threading allows for a more defined and precise shape and can create better definition for eyebrows. It is also used as a method of removing unwanted hair on the entire face and upper lip area.

How long does Threading Eyebrows last?

Eyebrow Threading can vary on each person depending on how quick your hair grows however we would usually recommend having your eyebrows threaded every 2-6 weeks.
